Panoramic door options have become a very popular choice with homeowners over the last few years. Selecta Systems have developed a revolutionary and innovative alternative to the bi-fold door that provides you with far more versatility. EASi-FOLD Doors, appropriately named because of the simplicity of operation, are a multi-pane set of doors with individually opening sashes with no visible hardware, only a handle on the master door. Having individually opening and sliding sashes enables easier handling when opening and closing, as each sash opens independently and glides effortlessly along a track, pivots and folds in to place against the master door, with very little force.

The ADVANCE 70 System is a fully-integrated, 70mm window and door profile system with both sculptured and chamfered variations. With double and triple glazing options the 5 chambered system has been intelligently designed to meet all requirements for improved thermal efficiency.

The ADVANCE 70 System benefits from large reinforcement chambers, where Selecta steel sections can be inserted for additional strength and rigidity when required, or increased thermal performance when combined with our RTR (Recycled Thermal Reinforcement) Bar.

The ADVANCE 70 EASi-FOLD Door System also offers enhanced security options and when correctly specified, residential doors are PAS24 and Secured by Design approved as standard.

5. EASi-SLIDE & EASi-FOLD

The EASi-FOLD sashes glide along a teflon track, lock in to a landing gate and fold against the master door - Effortless and simplistic!

FABRICATOR & FITTER FRIENDLY

Fully integrated chamfered and sculptured profile system designed for low stock holding, simple fabrication and easy installation.

  • 5 thermal chambers delivering optimal thermal performance to achieve A+ WER's.
  • Low sightline and high performance weather seals for improved insulation and weather protection.
  • 24mm and 28mm glazing options to give you the ability to fabricate cost-effective, energy-efficient doors.

Fabrication and Installation

Fabricated and installed in accordance with the latest issue of the Selecta Systems controlled technical manual.

System Description

The door assemblies are open out, internally beaded with BS EN 1279-2 compliant IGU(s), laminated on one pane to class P1A, with standard threshold and of otherwise fully welded construction. Doors are classified as D.

Hardware

A five point locking (two hooks, two cams, one dead bolt) Yale espagnolette system with two Roto Designo Pivot Hinges and two dog bolts. Yale 3* ASP cylinder, key locking Greenteq handle. Two sliding leaves.

Profiles

Outer frame top, bottom, lock side and hinge side - 1710. Leaf top, bottom, lock side and hinge side - 1715. Steel reinforcing - 1757.2

GRAINED AND SMOOTH COLOURS - WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?

Our grained effect colours have been designed to replicate the texture and look of wood. The texture is embossed within the coloured foil to add depth and realism to the colour shade or wood effect.

Our smooth effect colours have been created to replicate the smooth finish of aluminium. Dependant on the colour shade, this will either be complimented by a matt or semi-gloss finish to provide you with a clean finish.
