The MASTERslide Patio Door System has been designed for practicality and performance. The sliding design enables you to maximise the view of the outside and benefit from more light within the property.

MASTERslide offers a high performance, secure and visually stunning PVCu sliding door option that's designed for hassle-free operation and maintenance.

The slimline package with slim sight lines is available in a number of configurations with 2, 3 or 4 pane options, with the ability to create a span of up to 5500mm.

The MASTERslide Patio Door System is a sliding patio door system with both sculptured and chamfered variations. The multi-chambered system has been intelligently designed to meet all requirements for improved thermal efficiency.

The MASTERslide Patio Door System benefits from large reinforcement chambers, where Selecta steel sections can be inserted for additional strength and rigidity.

The MASTERslide Patio Door System also offers enhanced security options and when correctly specified, with the doors PAS24, Secured by Design and Building Regulation Document Q and M compliant.

NEW FOR 2023! MASTERslide UPGRADES

Over the last few years the patio door has had some kind of renaissance and they now seem to be the cost effective solution to creating a wall of glass. So, what we have done at Selecta is bring the MASTERslide patio door bang up-to-date and a more attractive proposition for the homeowner, whilst also being more fabricator and fitter friendly.

We designed a brand-new two-part interlock, which not only serves as an added security measure for PAS 24, but also provides both the fabricator and installer with a far more simpler solution. It improves the fabrication and installation time, whilst also allowing greater flexibility for adjustments when on site.

An aluminium low threshold has also been added to the patio door for Document M compliance. The new low threshold has a height of just 20mm compared to a full PVCu frame and cill at 80mm, thus providing easy access and egress. Aesthetically, it also improves the look and enhances the appeal of the patio door.

Another desirable upgrade comes in the form of the locking system. The addition of a 12 point shootbolt lock adds to the overall security passing the requirements of PAS 24 with relative ease. An attractive infill bar between the keeps provides a clean finish to the locking mechanism.

The upgrades to the MASTERslide patio door certainly provide you with a modern sliding door option that meets the requirements of todays discerning homeowner.

Aluminium low threshold or full PVCu frame. PVCu multi-chambered for improved thermal efficiency and performance. Our PVCu frames are also 100% lead free!

The gaskets and weatherseals are co-extruded within the frames to provide a weathertight seal - no heat loss or leaks!

Fabrication and Installation

Fabricated and installed in accordance with the latest issue of the controlled Selecta Systems technical manual.

System Description

The door assemblies are horizontal sliding up to four leaves with two outer leaves consisting of fixed leaves, internally beaded with BS EN 1279-2 compliant IGU(s), laminated on one pane to class P1A, with standard PVCu threshold or aluminium low threshold and of otherwise fully welded construction. Doors are classified as D.

Hardware

ERA patio 12 point locking system and ERA patio handle combined with a TS007 certified 3* cylinder.

Outer frame 8740. Sash 8741. Reinforcing 8750/1504 frame, 8759/8751 sash.

TWO PART INTERLOCK

The two part interlock not only has added security benefits, but is also fabricator and fitter friendly.

ALU. LOW THRESHOLD

The aluminium low threshold option is Document M compliant for easy access and egress and stands at just 20mm in height.

The 12 point security locking option is PAS 24, Document Q and Secured By Design compliant for enhanced security.

BEADING OPTIONS TO COMPLIMENT MASTERslide PATIO DOORS

The ADVANCE 70 and MASTERslide suite of profiles are available in both a chamfered and sculptured finish. To compliment the windows and doors, we provide a single lead bead with a co-extruded bubble gasket for excellent compression and weather seal.

The 28mm double glazing beads are available in both chamfered and sculptured to complimented the MASTERslide Patio Door and ADVANCE 70 suite of window and door profiles.

GRAINED AND SMOOTH COLOURS - WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?

Our grained effect colours have been designed to replicate the texture and look of wood. The texture is embossed within the coloured foil to add depth and realism to the colour shade or wood effect.

Our smooth effect colours have been created to replicate the smooth finish of aluminium. Dependant on the colour shade, this will either be complimented by a matt or semi-gloss finish to provide you with a clean finish.
