With its slimline profile and reduced sightlines, MASTERslide provides a contemporary aesthetic while maximising glazing areas for increased natural light. The system is designed for straightforward fabrication and installation, helping reduce fitting time on site without compromising finish or performance.

A robust running gear system ensures consistent, smooth operation, supported by a durable D-handle designed for frequent use. The system is available in 2, 3, and 4-pane configurations, giving fabricators flexibility to meet a wide range of aperture sizes and project requirements.

Installation options include a low-threshold aluminium system for improved accessibility or a full-frame threshold for standard applications. Security is built in as standard, with a high-performance multi-point locking and interlock system providing enhanced protection and compliance with current security expectations.

Over the last few years the patio door has had some kind of renaissance and they now seem to be the cost effective solution to creating a wall of glass. So, what we have done at Selecta is bring the MASTERslide patio door bang up-to-date and a more attractive proposition for the homeowner, whilst also being more fabricator and fitter friendly.

We designed a brand-new two-part interlock, which not only serves as an added security measure for PAS 24, but also provides both the fabricator and installer with a far more simpler solution. It improves the fabrication and installation time, whilst also allowing greater flexibility for adjustments when on site.

An aluminium low threshold has also been added to the patio door for Document M compliance. The new low threshold has a height of just 20mm compared to a full PVCu frame and cill at 80mm, thus providing easy access and egress. Aesthetically, it also improves the look and enhances the appeal of the patio door.

Another desirable upgrade comes in the form of the locking system. The addition of a 12 point shootbolt lock adds to the overall security passing the requirements of PAS 24 with relative ease.

An attractive infill bar between the keeps provides a clean finish to the locking mechanism.

Our MASTERslide multi-chambered patio doors achieve Building Regulations Approved Document L and Future Homes Standard energy ratings and U values without adding unwanted expense.

Excellent U Values can be achieved with a 4/20/4 28mm double-glazed unit, when used with our MASTERslide patio door profiles.

All of the above U Values have been achieved using 4mm glass, thus providing our fabricators and installers with a more cost effective solution when it comes to U Values.

Fabricated and installed in accordance with the latest issue of the controlled Selecta Systems technical manual.

System Description

The door assemblies are horizontal sliding up to four leaves with two outer leaves consisting of fixed leaves, internally beaded with BS EN 1279-2 compliant IGU(s), laminated on one pane to class P1A, with standard PVCu threshold or aluminium low threshold and of otherwise fully welded construction. Doors are classified as D.

ERA patio 12 point locking system and ERA patio handle combined with a TS007 certified 3* cylinder.

The MASTERslide Patio Door profiles have been designed to compliment our windows and doors. We provide a single lead bead with a co-extruded bubble gasket for excellent compression and weather seal.

The 28mm double glazing beads are available in both chamfered and sculptured to complimented the ADVANCE 70 suite of window and door profiles.
