ADVANCE 70 French doors give you a fully opening and secure entrance to any property, with excellent thermal performance and aesthetics. With a choice of chamfered or sculptured finish, open in or open out, full frame or Part M compliant low threshold options, combined with PAS 24 enhanced security, the ADVANCE 70 French doors provide you with an alternative and versatile option to patio or bi-folding doors.

The ADVANCE 70 System is a fully-integrated, 70mm window and door profile system with both sculptured and chamfered variations. With double and triple glazing options the 5 chambered system has been intelligently designed to meet all requirements for improved thermal efficiency.

The ADVANCE 70 System benefits from large reinforcement chambers, where Selecta steel sections can be inserted for additional strength and rigidity when required, or increased thermal performance when combined with our RTR (Recycled Thermal Reinforcement) Bar.

The ADVANCE 70 System also offers enhanced security options and when correctly specified, residential doors are PAS24 and Secured by Design approved as standard.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

1. PVCu FRAME

Multi-chambered for improved thermal efficiency and performance. Our PVCu frames are also 100% lead free!

Double and triple glazing options - 24mm, 28mm and 40mm.

Use RTR (Recycled Thermal Reinforcement) Bar to increase the thermal performance of your windows.

5. GASKETS & SEALS

The gaskets and weatherseals are co-extruded within the frames to provide a weathertight seal - no heat loss or leaks!

Fully integrated chamfered and sculptured profile system designed for low stock holding, simple fabrication and easy installation.

Fabricated and installed in accordance with the latest issue of the Selecta Systems controlled technical manual.

System Description

The door assemblies are single or double leaf open in or out, internally beaded with BS 1279-2 compliant IGU(s), laminated on one pane to class P1A, with or without midrails and glass above and below or fully glazed. With standard threshold or Stormguard low threshold (open out only) and of otherwise fully welded construction. Doors are classified as D.

Hardware

Yale products throughout comprising hinges, quad guard hinge protectors, lockmaster multi-point lock with French door slave lock (where required), keeps, roller extension, high security shootbolt set (double doors only) and double keeps (double doors only) and a TS007 3* cylinder.

BEADING OPTIONS TO COMPLIMENT ADVANCE 70 WINDOWS & DOORS

The ADVANCE 70 suite of profiles are available in both a chamfered and sculptured finish. To compliment the windows and doors, we provide a single lead bead with a co-extruded bubble gasket for excellent compression and weather seal.

The 28mm double glazing and 40mm triple glazing beads are available in both chamfered and sculptured to complimented the ADVANCE 70 suite of window and door profiles.

GRAINED AND SMOOTH COLOURS - WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?

Our grained effect colours have been designed to replicate the texture and look of wood. The texture is embossed within the coloured foil to add depth and realism to the colour shade or wood effect.

Our smooth effect colours have been created to replicate the smooth finish of aluminium. Dependant on the colour shade, this will either be complimented by a matt or semi-gloss finish to provide you with a clean finish.
