Our ADVANCE 70 multi-chambered residential doors achieve Building Regulations Approved Document L and Future Homes Standard energy ratings and U values without adding unwanted expense.

Excellent U Values can be achieved with a 4/20/4 28mm double-glazed unit, when used with our door profiles.

Fabrication and Installation

Fabricated and installed in accordance with the latest issue of the Selecta Systems controlled technical manual.

System Description

The door assemblies are single or double leaf open in or out, internally beaded with BS 1279-2 compliant IGU(s), laminated on one pane to class P1A, with or without midrails and glass above and below or fully glazed. With standard threshold or Stormguard low threshold (open out only) and of otherwise fully welded construction. Doors are classified as D.

Hardware

Yale products throughout comprising hinges, quad guard hinge protectors, lockmaster multi-point lock with French door slave lock (where required), keeps, roller extension, high security shootbolt set (double doors only) and double keeps (double doors only) and a TS007 3* cylinder.

The ADVANCE 70 suite of profiles are available in both a chamfered and sculptured finish.

To compliment the windows and doors, we provide a single lead bead with a co-extruded bubble gasket for excellent compression and weather seal.

The 28mm double glazing and 40mm triple glazing beads are available in both chamfered and sculptured to complimented the ADVANCE 70 suite of window and door profiles.

ADVANCE 70 TRADITIONAL 80mm OUTER FRAME

The ADVANCE 70 Door System also offers a traditional 80mm, 8 chambered frame to replicate authentic timber frames. The traditional 80mm frame is best suited to your cottage and heritage styled properties, with the benefit of increased thermal performance, owing to its 8 chambers.

The frame has also been tested to PAS 24 compliance, therefore providing enhanced security and meeting the requirements of Document Q.
